In 2007, I first visited Chicago for a friend and some pizza. Two years later I have an apartment in Lincoln Park and an ever-growing hankering for a slice of deep dish. My journey from East Coast girl with a cah to Midwest student with nothing but impending school loans, is the farthest I've ever ventured out of my comfort zone. To prevent the onset of homesickness, I've created this blog to turn my adventures in the Windy City into entertainment for those back home.
Born and raised in Worcester, MA, I have an insatiable love for all sports. After a stint working for ESPN in Bristol, CT and trying my hand at public relations in Boston, I decided to return to school to earn my Master's in Journalism to pursue my original and lingering dream of becoming a sportswriter. A city girl by nature, it was only appropriate that I relocated to one just as sports-crazy as the one I have always called home. Boston sports will always be my number one, but I am officially taking bribes from both Cubs and White Sox fans in return for my transplanted allegiance.
oooh!!! nice!
